Learn MoreOutstanding Excursion for Multi-generation Family!
We greatly enjoyed our on-shore excursion to Skagway led by guide, Slinky Jenkins, dressed in period attire, and who was not only knowledgeable about the history of Skagway, Dredgetown and gold panning, but was clever, entertaining, thoughtful, & a considerate tour guide. Other tour staff who detailed the history of gold panning were equally knowledgeable and entertaining. Staff took excellent care of everyone in our group! We also must give a "shout out" to Peter and Theresa Bartlett for their excellent educational presentation related to the history of dog sledding, care for Alaskan Huskies and the demanding training necessary for both mushers and dogs for the annual Iditarod sled race. We learned so much about mushing and it was special to be able to cuddle Alaskan Husky puppies. This was our most favorite excursion and clearly was well-planned & conducted in great facilities for this Grampy & Grandmama from Nebraska, and daughter and 10 year old granddaughter from Portland, OR.

KLONDIKE MIKE and real gold, puppies, and train. The best best best bestest excursion combo !
The triple tour was amazing in all aspects. Most amazing of all is Klondike Mike. He is a long time radio personality which shows in his abilities. The dog tour WITH PUPPIES, gold prospecting with REAL GOLD, and the White train ride with his entertainminations were highlights of our entire trip. Go with Mike. He is the real deal.

Fun interactive experience for kids and adults
We were warmly greeted by our prospector tour guide from the 1800s Klondike gold rush, ‘Nugget Barlow’ (Christian). He was witty and entertaining. He provided a fun environment for kids and adults alike. Panning for gold was a fun hands on experience. It was also great to learn more about sled dogs and the sport of dogs sledding from Iditarod experts, Therese and Peter. We got a chance to see the beautiful dogs get excited for a lap, and we got to hold the cutest puppies! We truly loved this entire experience and learning all the history.

Amazing! Do this excursion!
We just did this tour! It was sooo amazing. Our tour guide Longshot Liz was absolutely amazing! The train ride was very informative and I would do it again in a heart beat. The sled dogs were so awesome to learn about from Peter and Therese Bartlett and the puppy cuddles were the best! Had so much fun gold panning and Nugget was hilarious.

Don't Miss Alaska 360 in Skagway
We had a group of 6 on the Norwegian Spirit cruise and one of our excursions included the White Pass Railway tour, panning for gold, an historical lesson about Dredge Town and the 1898 gold rush in Alaska, and the sled dog demonstration and visit with the dogs and puppies. Every part of the excursion was wonderful. Our tour guide for the day, Slim Pickens, was knowledgeable, funny, personable and stayed in character all day. The cider and snacks were much appreciated. The train ride and Slim's narration was my favorite part. Amazing history lesson and White Pass's natural beauty made the train ride a breathtaking experience. Our whole group would highly recommend this 6 hour excursion - well worth the time and price!

Outstanding Day with Slinky & Nugget
We booked this as an excursion on our recent cruise on the Norwegian Jewel. It far exceeded our expectations from the brief description included in our cruise package. Slinky Jenkins, our tour guide for the day, met us on the deck and we didn’t stop laughing for the rest of the day. Slinky, Nugget, and company offered information and entertainment throughout the day that was both engaging and hilarious at the same time. If you book this tour, request Slinky or Nugget, they are THE BEST. Thank you Alaska 360 for an unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience!Get miss Roxanne!Get miss Roxanne!

Well worth the excursion
We came in on Royal Carribbean's Radience. From the advice of another couple we were traveling with we took the excursion. The white pass train was amazing, and Alaska is amazing. We were lucky to have a guitar playing tour guide play and sing for us. After the train ride we got to pan for gold. The pans were pres-seeded but it was fun..I'm rich I got $18.00 worth of gold. Next was the Iditarod portion. They explained what they do du ring the race. It's truly a grueling race. Next we got to see the sled dogs. They brought them out and we were able to pet them. They hooked the dogs up to the sled and did a run. These dogs love to run. After that we were lucky that one of the dogs had puppies and we were able to hold them. Special thanks to our hosts Matt Hayashida, Kaci Murringer, and Emma Rose Chong. If you are going to Skagway, Alaska 360 is a must.

Worth every penny!
We were part of a tour arranged by the Royal Caribbean Radience staff! In port we were met by Dakota Panning in 1880’s attire. She was our guide for the train to White Summit aboard a restored turn of the century train. She was marvelous! Informative and entertaining! The train wove it’s way up the mountain while Dakota told us the history of the gold mining era. After we reached the Summits Dakota sang period, folksy songs on the return to the station. We then went to the Alaska 360 complex. Panned for gold, experienced -40 degrees, and learned about the Iditarod from a real competitor and sled dog demo, complete with meeting the future sled dogs! We had a wonderful time. The adventure was a highlight of our trip!

Best excursion!
When we signed up for this excursion, we didn't know about all of the amazing things Alaska 360 had to offer! We got to meet sled dogs and puppies, pan for our own gold, go on a tour of an old dredge machine, and do many other fun activities! Our tour guide, Longshot Liz, made the whole experience very fun and enjoyable! The lunch that we got inside their restaurant was also very good! Overall, this was the best excursion we went on in Alaska.
